Many channel managers are connected to Airbnb across the world, but few have the technical standards to meet ‘Preferred Partner’ requirements. This is awarded to software partners that meet or exceed Airbnb’s performance and technical requirements. They must have fully integrated API connectivity and meet specific criteria to ensure the highest quality for clients connecting via the system.

To achieve this, Avantio has had to demonstrate that we are invested in collaborating on integration quality to deliver a consistently successful API connection. Airbnb has Preferred Partner software categories for both PMS and Channel Managers and Avantio has been approved for each.

Booking.com was founded in Amsterdam in 1996 and is now one of the longest established global online travel agencies, with properties in more than 220 countries and territories.

Avantio first connected with Booking.com in 2012, giving our clients the opportunity to market their properties to this enormous audience. We’ve maintained a close relationship over the last ten years, continuing to evolve our software for the optimum connection. We’ve achieved an incredibly high level of compatibility, meaning our clients can publish listings with detailed accuracy to maximize visibility.

Our relationship continues to thrive and we were awarded Premier Partner status by Booking in 2020, an accolade we have maintained for three consecutive years.

Booking.com Premier Partner Requirements (H4)

Booking.com Premier Partner status is awarded annually, with performance monitored quarterly, to ensure that high standards are maintained consistently year-round.

The assessment includes stringent evaluation of metrics such as business value, property performance, connectivity solutions, engagement, and deals. First known as ‘Vacation Rentals By Owner’, Vrbo was founded in Colorado in 1995, with the purpose of renting out condos at a ski resort. After a decade of growth, Vrbo was acquired by vacation rental marketplace HomeAway in 2006. HomeAway was then acquired by travel giants Expedia in 2015 – uniting both existing brands under the Vrbo name. After nearly three decades of evolution, Vrbo has certainly earned its global heavyweight status.
